Coronavirus continues to disrupt and challenge all of us by introducing a great deal of uncertainty into our lives. Last year we adapted the Tom Fund process to try and respond to this by introducing a deadline for applications. This year, as the situation continues to change rapidly, we are trying to do something similar by accepting applications in two rounds. The guidance for applicants and mentors has been updated, found here.

Briefly :

Applications for Round 1 should be submitted by midnight UK time on Friday 19 March 2021.
Applications for Round 2 should be submitted by midnight UK time on Friday 16 April 2021.
Applications will be assessed in line with our existing criteria, which are explained here. We still want to help you develop your ideas, and not only improve production value. Do take a look at the projects we have funded previously.
We know that many of you will be incurring costs as a result of adapting your ideas to the new constraints, and we are sorry that we can’t help everyone meet those costs. If we receive a lot of applications we will have to reject a lot of exceptional projects.
