Support

The Tom Fund was established in 2016 following the death of third-year Goldsmiths BA Design student Tom Wagstaff, for the benefit of current third-year students. So far awards have been made to individual students (or groups if working together) to enable risk-taking in exploring or realising an important conceptual aspect of their work.

Since 2016, the Tom Fund has made almost 90 awards totalling more than £25,000. You can read about almost all of the projects supported in the Project Archive.

Funds administered by the Tom Fund have been donated by friends and family of Tom, by visitors to the annual BA Design degree show, and by others associated with the BA Design. The funds are held and administered by the Development and Alumni Office at Goldsmiths College. Donations are eligible for Gift Aid.
